The majority of the documentation that you will need when you start working with us is available to download from this blog. This is because we like to make the whole process as easy as possible for our freelance translators – we know that your time is too precious to spend fussing with difficult bureaucracy!
The following translator contract outlines the necessary details so that you can start to translate with BigTranslation. You will also find the obligatory clauses that must be adhered to on both your part and ours. If you are a translator who has just started working with us, simply fill in the contract with your personal details and your target language(s), sign it on each page and return it to us.
This contract has been updated as of May 2017. Most of our collaborators will have signed a previous version and will now need to send us this update. We ask you to take your time to read all of the information carefully and to get in touch with hr@bigtranslation.com if you have any questions.
We will also require a photocopy of the documentation specified in the contract or the relevant accrediting documentation from the country in which you are established. Our Administration Department will be happy to advise you about this if you are in any doubt.
